Clinical significance of Holden's line:

1. Holden’s line is the layer attached to the fascia found beneath the subcutaneous layer of skin, which is present in the thigh region.
2. The Holden’s line means the crease of the skin of the groin due to the caused flexion of the thigh.
3. It is present in all regions except the layer i.e., the inguinal ligament. and prevents the urine from descending into the thigh only when there is a deep injury to the urethra in the perineum.
4. It prevents inguinal hernia by supporting the inguinal canal.
