What is complete linkage?

Solution
Complete linkage:
The linkage between genes is considered complete when they are so strongly coupled that they are always inherited together.
For example, the genes for bent wings and shaven bristles on Drosophila's IV
th
chromosome show full linkage.
It's a sort of inheritance in which just the parental types are passed on from generation to the children, with no crossings or recombinant types.
The character genes are related genes that are present together on the same chromosome and do not show independent assortment.
