  1. The substances which are filtered out from the glomerulus are called glomerular filtrate.
  2. The glomerular filtrate is also known as nephric filtrate.

Composition of Glomerular filtrate:

  1. The glomerular filtrate contains urea, water, vitamins, fatty acids, water, glucose, nitrogen, salts, etc.
  2. The glomerular filtrate enters the nephrons for further filtration termed ultrafiltration.
