A citizen is a person who inhabits in a particular country or nation. In India, citizens derive their rights and freedom from the Constitution of India. Along with the rights and freedom, come duties and responsibilities which are expected to be performed by citizens. Some of them are respecting the National flag, our Constitution and National Heritage. Our heritage is protected by keeping intact and safeguarded by citizens of the country. Monuments, culture, teachings are protected and fundamental principles are adapted to maintain the identity of the country since India was British Colony. A nation is represented by its a citizen rather than boundaries and structures.
