Solution
Flagella:
Flagella are locomotive structures that are found in both prokaryotic as well as eukaryotic organisms.
Flagella are found in eukaryotic cells however their structure is different from that of prokaryotic cells.
Microtubules are organized in a 9+2 arrangement in the eukaryotic flagella.
Nine doublets surround a pair of single microtubules in the center, which are grouped on the periphery.
The core of the flagella is known as the axoneme.
The plasma membrane covers the flagella.
Flagella whips around in a whip-like motion.
ATP provides energy for the movement of eukaryotic flagella.
