Solution
Corpora quadrigemina:
Corpora quadrigemina is the reflex centre that connects the midbrain and the hindbrain.
In the midbrain, the corpora quadrigemina is located.
The quadrigeminal plate on the posterior surface of the midbrain houses four colliculi, two inferior and two superior.
The auditory and visual reflexes are controlled by them.
Visual processing and eye movement control are handled by the superior colliculi, whereas auditory processing is handled by the inferior colliculi.
