Open in App
Solution

The correct descending sequence of taxonomic categories, also known as the taxonomic hierarchy is kingdom, phylum or division, class, order, family, genus and species.
Phylum division is below kingdom and above class.
The main difference between phylum and division is that, phylum is a classification level of animal kingdom, whereas division is the alternative classification level to phylum in kingdom Plantae and Fungi.
