The correct option is A ₹ 4,000
On a land or a plot, tiling is done to cover the entire area of the land or the plot.
Hence in this case also, tiling will be done on the complete area of the rectangular plot.

Given, length of the rectangular plot of land = 20 m
Breadth of the rectangular plot of land = 10 m
Therefore, area of the rectangular plot
= length x breadth
= 20 m x 10 m
= 200 m2

Given, cost of tiling of 1 m2 of land = ₹ 20
So, total cost of tiling = Cost of tiling per square metre x Total area of the land

Hence, cost of tiling 200 m2
= 20 x 200
= ₹ 4,000
