Cyclones:

Cyclones are generally spinning storm that rotates around a low-pressure center. The air around cyclone rotates anticlockwise in northern hemisphere. since the air gathers towards the low pressure center it causes weather activity at the region where it strikes. causes heavy rain and heavy winds in that region.

Thundrstorms:

Thunderstorms are small scale severe weather events associated with frequent lightning, high winds, and heavy rainfall with loud thunder. They can and do occur at any time of the year, but are most likely to happen during the afternoon and evening hours and during the spring and the summer season.
