Solution

The correct option is A 3
Solve the polynomial as follows:
2(x2)(x2+5)
=(2x4)(x2+5)
=2x3+10x4x220 or
=2x34x2+10x20
Since the highest degree of its term is the degree of a polynomial and here the highest degree is 3.
Hence, the degree of the given polynomial is 3.
