what is the difference between a natural number and a whole number

Dear student, The difference between natural and whole numbers is that whole number doesn't include 0 whereas Natural numbers include 0 too. Natural numbers are the basic counting numbers such as {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …..} but Whole numbers are the set of natural numbers with zero. Regards.
