Avg. demand = $\frac{T o t a l d e m a n d}{N o . o f c o m p a n i e s}$ = $\frac{3000 + 600 + 2500 + 1200 + 3300}{5}$ = $\frac{10600}{5}$ = 2120

Avg. production = $\frac{T o t a l p r o d u c t i o n}{N o . o f c o m p a n i e s}$ = $\frac{1500 + 1800 + 1000 + 2700 + 2200}{5}$ = $\frac{9200}{5}$ = 1840

Difference = 2120 - 1840 = 280
