The soil in this region consists of calcareous deposits known as kankar. 3. These are coarser in textures. 4. These soils are less fertile. Khadar 1. It is the soil formed by newer and younger deposits in flood plains. 2. The soil is renewed every year and is fertile for intensive agriculture. 3. These are finer in textures. 4.
