What is the difference between biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste? Give example of each

Biodegradable waste: (1) Substances that are broken -down by biological processes are said to be biodegradable. (2) Example: Dead animals and plants , sewage, paper, etc.
Non-biodegradable waste: (1) Substances that are not broken- down by biological processes are said to be non- biodegradable. (2) Example: Plastic bags,glass,bottles,empty tin cans etc.
