CHEMICAL NAME: calcium oxichloride
CHEMICAL FORMULA: CAOCL2
PREPARATION: it can be prepared by passing chlorine gas over dry slake lime.
USES: 1.it is used in textile industries
2. it is used to make wool unshrinkable

BAKING SODA
CHEMICAL NAME: sodium hydrogen carbonate
CHEMICAL FORMULA: NA HCO3
PREPARATION: it can be prepared by passing carbon dioxide gas and ammonia gas through a cold and concentrated solution of sodium chloride
USES: 1. it is used for making baking powder which is further used for making bread and cake spongy and soft.
2. it is used in soda fire extinguisher.
