What is the difference between burning of a candle and burning of coal

Dear student,
  1. Candle burns with a flame but coal does not burns with a flame .
  2. As coal is a carbon product its burning causes a severe damage to environment but burning of candle doesnt effect much to the environment.
  3. Burning of candle produces less amount of heat while burning of coal produces high amount of heat.
  4. burning of wax is a reversible change because when it burns only size of candle will decrease ,there will be no change in its chemical properties but burning of coal is irreversible change its chemical properties will not remain same after burning.
