What is the difference between CGST and IGST?

CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) is levied by the Center on the intrastate supply of goods and services while IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax) is levied by the center on the inter-state supply of goods and services.

IGST is levied on imports also.
