What is the difference between curd and yogurt ?

Curd is made by cream and skimmed milk with Lactobacillus acidophilus at 40 degree temperature or less.
Yoghurt is produced by curdling milk with Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus. It has flavour of lactic acid and acetaldehyde.
