What is the difference between conduction and induction?
Conduction | Induction |
1.conduction is a process of charging of a neutral body with a charged body by a direct contact with it. | Induction is the process of charging a neutral body with a charged body without making any direct contact. |
2.In conduction, charge developed is same as the charge on the external body. | In induction, charge developed is opposite as the charge on the external body. |
3. In conduction two bodies actually touch each other. | In induction there is no physical contact between the two bodies. |
