Exocrine Glands

Endocrine glands are ductless, and they pour their secretions directly into the circulatory system for transporting them to the target organs.Exocrine glands are duct-bearing glands that pour their secretions into the ducts, which further release the secretions onto the surface of the target organs.
The target organs of these glands are located quite far from the glands. The target organs of these glands are located quite close to the glands.
Some examples of endocrine glands are the hypothalamus gland, pituitary gland, thymus, etc.Examples of exocrine glands are gastric glands, sweat glands and salivary glands.
