What is the difference between factors responsible and causes of diseases?

Dear Student,

Cause is the reason or the source of any anything that effects a result. Causes can be broadly divided into immediate causes (which can be external or internal e.g, microorganism) and contributory causes result the occurrence of diseases.

While, factors act as an agent which produce a result.The factors for diseases could be External and internal factors.External factors include: Infections from Pathogens like viruses, bacteria, fungi etc. While, Internal factors include: Dysfunction of any organ or tissue, disorder, syndrome,injury, genetic etc.
