Graafian Follicle: Graafian follicle is the mature follicle that contains the egg to be released during ovulation.

Corpus Luteum: The remnants of the Graafian follicle after it has released the egg are known as corpus luteum.

Graafian follicle secretes the estrogen hormone.Corpus luteum secretes the progesterone hormone.
It is developed and maintained by the FSH ( Follicle Stimulating Hormone ).It is developed and maintained by the HCG ( Human Chorionic Gonadotropin ) hormone.
