Solution

Dear student
Hormone Enzyme
They are produced away from their functional site. They are produced in all living cells.
They promote or inhibits growth, sex expression, water absorption etc. They catalyze several biochemical reactions in the body.
They are produced from ductless glands and are transported by blood. They are transported by specific ducts and sometimes produced at the site of the reaction.
Based on chemical nature, hormones can be sub-divided into groups based on their chemical structures. Steroid hormones are those derived from cholesterol, thyroid hormones are derived from the amino acid tyrosine, and other hormones are categorized as amino acid derivatives, peptides, or proteins. Based on chaemical nature, All known enzymes are proteins. They are high molecular weight compounds made up principally of chains of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds.
