Leadership is a process of influencing the behaviour and performance of individual or group towards achievement of desired goals. Leadership is situational, a particular style of leadership may be successful in one situation and not in another. It involves interpersonal relations between the leader and his follower.

Motivation is a process of inducing people to take a desired course of action. A motivation can be positive or negative. A same thing can not motivate all the individuals in same way.
