Solution

Differences between the magnetic field and magnetic field lines are given below:

Magnetic FieldMagnetic field lines
1. Magnetic field is the region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts.1. Magnetic field lines are a visual tool used to represent magnetic fields. They describe the direction of the magnetic force on a north monopole at any given position. Magnetic lines of force are imaginary lines that represent the direction of a magnetic field.

2. At any point in space, the magnetic field's direction is tangent to the field line.

2. The magnetic field lines can never cross, the field is unique at any point in space. The magnetic field lines always make closed loops.
