Solution

Magnetic meridian:
A vertical plane passing through the magnetic axis of a freely suspended magnet is called magnetic meridian.
Magnetic equator:
The magnetic equator is the line where the inclination is zero i.e. the magnetic field is horizontal and magnetic axis is a line through the centre of a magnet such that the torque exerted on the magnet by a magnetic field in the direction of this line equals zero.
