What is the difference between Median and Altitude ? [2 MARKS]

Definition : 1 Mark each

Median is a line segment formed between a vertex and the mid-point of the opposite side.
Altitude on the other hand is the perpendicular distance of a vertex from its opposite side.

In the below figure, CH is altitude of C from AB and CM is median from C to AB.
