Solution

Monoecious organisms Dioecious organisms
Monoecious means that both the male and female reproductive organs are present in the same organisms or plants. Dioecious means that the male and female reproductive organs are distinct, that is, they are present in two separate organisms or plants.
During isolation, reproduction is easy as both the reproductive organs are present in same species. Reproduction is not possible in isolation. Both the sexes need to be present.
Inbreeding depression is caused due to which the variability is decreased. Heterozygosity and genetic variabilty is increased due to exchange of gametes.
e.g. earthworms, corns, oak tree etc. e.g. human beings, dogs, chickens, asparagus etc.
