Question

What is the difference between perpendicular , intersecting and bisecting

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

Two lines are said to be intersecting if they are crossing each other at a single point.

When a line segment bisects the another line segment, then it means that former line segment cuts the latter at a point and also divides it into two equal parts.

A line is said to be perpendicular to another line if the two lines intersect at a right angle.
