Open in App
Solution

Difference between real numbers and rational numbers:

  • Real numbers are the combination of rational numbers and irrational numbers while the rational numbers are the numbers which can be expressed in the form of pq, where p and q are integers and q0.
  • All rational numbers are real, but all real numbers are not rational.
  • Real numbers contain irrational numbers also. Irrational numbers are non-terminating and non-repeating while rational numbers are terminating or non-terminating but repeating.

For example:

2 is real irrational number and 23is real rational number.
