SPONGOCOEL COELENTERON
1) Large cavity enclosed by the body wall in sponges is called spongocoel.1) Cavity enclosed by body wall in cnidarians is called coelenteron.
2) Spongocoel is lined by flagellated choanocytes.2) It is lined by gastrodermis.
3) Water enters the spongocoel through Ostia and expelled out through Osculum.3) It has only one aperture i.e mouth.
4) Eg- Scypha, Euplectella.4) Hydra, Aurelia.
