What is the difference between Stalin and Lenin?

a. While both Lenin and Stalin were leaders of Bolshevik party, and were prominent figures, Lenin became the leaders and took power power after the revolution in the year 1917 and is credited for the establishment of a Bolshevik society . Joseph Stalin who as officially declared as the successor of Lenin. He took over the Communist party and became its highest leader after Lenin's death.

b. Lenin became the head of Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924 and of Soviet Russia from 1917-1924, Stalin on the other hand served as the General secretary from ​1922 to 1952 and Premier of Soviet union from 1941 to 1953.

c. Lenin was a communist and developed his ideologies in those lines. Stalin was largely influenced by both communism and the ideas of Lenin, however he also formulated his own set of policies came to be regarded as Stalinism.

d. Lenin introduced New economic policy, Stalin introduced his rigid collectivisation programme to bring about equality in the society.

e. Lenin dealt cautiously with his opponents and critics while Stalin crushed all the opposition brutally.
