Standard State

1. STP stands for Standard Temperature and Pressure which defines as 0°C i.e 273K and pressure of 1atm.1. Standard states refer to the conditions at 1atm pressure , the liquid and the gases should be in pure condition and the concentration of the solution should be 1M.
2. It is mostly used when performing calculations for gases.2. It is used to calculate material property in different thermodynamic conditions.
