Solution

The difference between semiconductors and transistors:

SemiconductorsTransistors
Semiconductors are that substances have both electrically insulating and conducting properties. A transistor is a type of semiconductor composed of three parts, a collector, base, and emitter. Transistors are used to switch stabilize and amplify voltage, etc.

Semiconductors are two types-

1. Intrinsic semiconductor.

2. Extrinsic semiconductor.

Transistors are three types-

1. Bipolar transistor.

2. Field-effect transistor.

3. Insulated-gate bipolar transistors.
