What is the difference between the Division and Multiplication of the cells?

Cell division is the process by which a parent cell divides to two or more daughter cells. There are two kinds of cell division: Mitosis and Meiosis. Whereas, multiplication of cells is term used to define, when a cell multiplies and dividing at one time. Multiplication of a cell in an abnormal manner if occurred can leads to form cancerous cells.
