Open in App
Solution

Thrust:
1. Thrust is the force that a body exerts perpendicularly on a surface.
2. Its SI unit is newton (N).
3. It is numerically equal to the weight of the object.

Pressure:
1. The thrust on an unit area of surface is called pressure.
Thus, pressure is ratio of thrust/force to the area.
