What is the difference between vacuum and high vacuum?

Dear Student,

Vacuum id defined as space devoid of matter. Just like our universe is said to be vacuum as no air is present there. We in terms of air , calculate High or Low vacuum. The value is estimated as Vacuum with a gaseous pressure much less than 10-4 atmospheric pressure is low vacumm. Whereas the vacuum with pressure lower than 10-8 is said to be high vacuum.
