What is the difference between wavelet and wavefront ?

Dear student, wavelet is a wave like oscillation whose amplitude increases from zero and again decreases to zero where as wavefront is the locus of all points that travels with same or constant phase.Tracing the locus will also give the wave envelope. Regards
