Open in App
Solution

Weak electrolyteNon-electrolyte
1. Those electrolytes which get ionized only to a small extent in the aqueous solution are weak electrolytes.1. Those substances which do not dissociate or ionized into ions are categorized as non-electrolytes.
2. They can conduct electricity due to presence of ions but to a very less extent as compared to strong electrolytes2. They do not conduct electricity.
3. Mostly they are less polar in nature.3. They are non-polar covalent compounds.
4. E.g. H2CO3(carbonicacid),CH3COOH(aceticacid)4. E.g. NH2-CO-NH2(Urea),C6H6(benzene)
