We know the relation between maximum value of pressure in the medium and displacement of the particles in the medium is given by,

Also, speed of sound,

Wave number,

k=2πλ=2πfv .....(3)

On putting (2) and (3) in (1),

Po=v2ρ×Ao×2πfv=2πvρAof
