Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) is a releasing hormone secreted by hypothalamus. It stimulates the anterior pituitary to synthesise and release of gonadotropins - Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicular stimulating hormone (FSH).

Prolactin hormone which is synthesised by the anterior pituitary regulates the growth of the mammary glands and formation of milk in them.
Oxytocin is a hormone secreted by the posterior pituitary lobe which stimulates uterine contraction for foetal ejection.
