What is the effect of pressure on the boiling point of water?

$∙$ Boiling point of water increases on increasing the pressure and decreases on decreasing the pressure.
$∙$ Water boils at 100 ⁰C at normal atmospheric pressure i.e. at 1 atm. At pressure greater than 1 atm, water boils at above 100 degree celsius.
