Question

What is the effect of temperature on:

1. Molarity

2. Mole fraction

Open in App
Solution

Molarity is affected by the temperature. molarity is the ratio between the number

of moles of solute to the volume of solution in liters and as on increasing

temperature the volume increases and hence with the increase in temperature

the molarity of solution decreases .

number of moles doesn't change with temperature

so mole fraction is independent of temperature
