Solution

The correct options are
A ρ= 12(ρ1+ρ2)
D ρ= 14(2ρ1+2ρ2)
Given, the volume of water and milk is same v and assume that their masses are m1 and m2.
we know that,
m=ρv
Then mass of water m1=ρ1v
and mass of milk m2=ρ2v

Total mass of water and milk is:
m1+m2=ρ1v+ρ2v
m1+m2=v(ρ1+ρ2)

Total volume of water and milk V=2v
The effective density of the mixture is:
ρ= Total massTotal volume
ρ= v(ρ1)(ρ2)2v
ρ= 12(ρ1+ρ1)
