The line has equal intercepts on coordinate axes, that means the line has slope $= - 1$ , ie. the equation of the line is of the form $y + x = c$

Given : $(4, 3)$ lies on the line,
On putting the values $(x, y) \equiv (4, 3)$
$\Rightarrow y + x = c$
$\Rightarrow 4 + 3 = c$
