Solution

Evolution :
It is the change in characteristics of a species gradually over time based on the natural selection process and that changes are the inherited characteristics of an organism.

Charles Darwin :

  1. He proposed that species changes over time and all species develop from pre-existing species and share a common ancestor.
  2. This theory says that each species is different and unique from the common ancestor, and that change makes individual species from others.
  3. Natural selection is a process through which living organisms adapt and change over time in an environment.
  4. All the species are different in one or the other way, some traits better adjust to the environment than others.
  5. Offspring with more favorable characteristics will survive and have more offspring.
  6. Hence, Natural selection is the Essence of Darwinian Theory about Evolution.
