During fertilization in plants, one sperm fuses with egg nucleus and other sperm nucleus fuses with polar nuclei to form endosperm. Ovule that contains fertilized zygote develops into seed and ovary(enclosed by ovary wall) that surrounds ovules become fruit (enclosed by Pericarp).
Ovulation is the process of releasing ovules from the ovary.
