Solution

Dear Student,

A homogeneous mixture is a substance made up of two or more substances mixed uniformly while a solution is the mixture of a solute in a solvent both in different phases which may be homogeneous or heterogeneous both.
A solution is a type of homogeneous mixture in a single phase. It has a uniform composition throughout. Generally, homogeneous mixtures are called solutions.
There is no such mixture that is homogeneous but still not a true solution. Such solutions are called colloidal(heterogeneous) solutions.

Regards.
