Reaction of nitriles with Grignard Reagent forms ketone upon hydrolysis as:
$R C N + R^{'} M g B r \to R C O R^{'}$
from ethane nitrile $R = C H_{3}$ and Ethyl magnesium bromide has $R^{'} = C H_{2} C H_{3}$
