What is the force constant of a string (NOT spring)?

Dear Student,

stirng is inextensible so we cannot define the force constant . it cannot hold the potential energy as spring and it cannot push any object it just pull the object that pull the string just as action reaction force .
so for the string force constant cannot be defined .
